constant dollars is called:
F real GDP.
G nominal GDP.
H GNP.
J cost averaged GDP.

Answers

Answer:

F real GDP

Explanation:

The GDP represents all of the services and goods that have been produced by a particular country in a particular period (one year usually), thus it represents the total product of the country for that period. On the other hand, this is not giving the full picture of the economy, as we don not have information about the inflation, thus the cost of living in the country. That is when the real GDP comes in action. The real GDP is the GDP that is adjusted for inflation with a price index constant dollars, and it manages to give us much clearer picture of the economy.

Final answer:

René Descartes and Sir Francis Bacon substantially influenced the scientific method by integrating rationalism and empiricism into scientific inquiry, with their respective methodologies still forming the basis of many contemporary scientific practices.

Explanation:

René Descartes and Sir Francis Bacon were pivotal figures in the development of scientific research, substantially influencing the scientific revolution with their methodologies. Descartes, a French scholar, is known for distinguishing between empirical knowledge based on observation (e.g., physics) and rational knowledge derived from logical inference (e.g., mathematics), while Bacon, an English philosopher, promoted empiricism and the inductive methods that make up the scientific method. Rather than aligning with one another to prove Galileo's theories, improve optics for telescopes and microscopes, or develop new types of mathematics, they each contributed to the evolution of the methodological approach used in scientific inquiry.

The correct answer to the question "How did René Descartes and Sir Francis Bacon change the development of scientific research?" is C: Both helped develop the scientific method of observation and experimentation that scientists still use today. Descartes' rationalism and Bacon's empiricism contributed to establishing a systematic approach of observation, measurement, and experimentation that continues to underpin modern scientific practice.

In what way did the Berlin Wall symbolize the iron curtain

Answers

The Berlin Wall symbolized the Iron Curtain as it was a stark physical representation of the ideological barrier and the political and economic division that separated Western Europe and the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War.

The Iron Curtain, a term popularized by Winston Churchill in 1946, referred to the non-physical boundary dividing Europe into two separate areas after World War II: the capitalist West and the communist East. This divide was maintained by the Soviet Union and its satellite states, which sought to prevent the spread of Western influence and ideas.

The Berlin Wall, built in 1961 by the German Democratic Republic (East Germany), with the support of the Soviet Union, was a literal wall that ran through the city of Berlin, dividing it into East Berlin and West Berlin. It was constructed to stop the flow of refugees from East to West, but it also served as a powerful symbol of the Cold War's divisions. The wall was heavily fortified and guarded, making it a potent symbol of oppression and the lack of freedom in the Eastern Bloc.

Both the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain represented the broader political, military, and ideological barriers that existed between the communist and capitalist worlds. They were tangible manifestations of the Cold War's divisions, and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 became a symbol of the end of the Cold War and the eventual dissolution of the Iron Curtain. The wall's destruction marked the collapse of communist regimes in Eastern Europe and the reopening of borders, leading to increased freedom of movement and the reunification of Germany in 1990.

Explanation: On the basis of a culture there, personality is constructed. There are both similarity and variability based on the cultures. Like a person from South Asian culture is more likely to be socially and religiously conservative. On the other hand a person from the Middle East countries is also religiously conservative . So there is a similarity between two personalities from two different cultures. But people from European countries are more like to have a non conservative personality. They are more likely to be open minded. So this is a variability between the personality among cultures.

So there is both variability than similarities in personalities across culture.

The correct answer is A) there are both, variability and similarities regarding personalities among cultures.

Researchers focusing on cultural influences on personality have discovered that there are both, variability and similarities regarding personalities among cultures.

It is a fact that although people live in different countries, sometimes they are very alike. And we are not talking about race or ethnicity, but to the way they think and behave. Answer:

"Authoritarian personality theory states that extreme prejudice is: a trait of certain individuals. Conflict theory states that prejudice is: used by powerful people to justify oppressing others."

Final answer:

The authoritarian personality theory states that extreme prejudice is more likely to be expressed by individuals with certain personality traits such as obedience to authority and conformity.

Explanation:

The authoritarian personality theory states that extreme prejudice is more likely to be expressed by individuals with certain personality traits. These traits include a tendency towards obedience and submission to authority, a rigid and conventional outlook, and a high degree of conformity. People with an authoritarian personality are more likely to exhibit biases and discriminatory behaviours.

For example, someone with an authoritarian personality may have strong beliefs in maintaining social order and hierarchy. They may harbor prejudices against certain groups they perceive as threats to their values or authority. This theory suggests that extreme prejudice is a result of these personality characteristics.

It is important to note that this theory has been criticized for its limited scope and lack of empirical evidence. While it can provide some insights into understanding prejudice, it does not account for other factors such as socialization, culture, and individual experiences.

Answer:

The Constitutional Convention of Philadelphia took place between May 14 and September 17, 1787. In it, a total of 55 delegates from 12 of the 13 Original Colonies (only Rhode Island is missing) met to discuss changes to the Articles of Confederation, which were in question after a series of social revolts and the demonstrated inability of the central government to regulate trade and economy.

During the Convention, the delegates moved from a position aimed at modifying the Articles of Confederation to a desire to create a new maximum law for the United States, which politically organized the country efficiently and without giving place to the economic and social problems that the Articles had indirectly generated. Thus, the Constitution of the United States was sanctioned on September 17, 1787.

Hamilton favored a strong national government with federal powers that were supreme over state powers. He favored an industrialized nation and favored a protective tariff and a national bank. He favored a constitution that would be interpreted broadly, loose construction, so the national government would have more powers as needed.

Jefferson believed in states' rights and felt the federal government did not have supreme power over the states. He wanted the US to become an agrarian nation with most of our industrial products purchased from Great Britain or other European nations. He believed in strictconstruction of the Constitution, meaning that the government could only do what the Constitution specifically stated.

Confetti. Snow. Sofia tried to think of what would fall through the air but not hurt. In her dream the little white things had stung as they rained down from the sky. She sat up in bed with the sheet pulled around behind her, the edge of it resting on top of her head. This was what she did to sort out dreams. Wearing her sheet like a tent no, like a veil was a little ceremony of hers since before she could remember. Even as a tiny child, she'd relied on little ceremonies and rituals. The way she tied her shoelaces into perfect pairs of bows. Brushing her hair for an hour before bed, as if preparing for some occasion. This sheet draped over her, as if she were a seer or a priestess, the mistress of dreams, which was better than being at their mercy. She would decide what they meant. They were, after all, her dreams. Static. Sleet. Little white plastic spears. She'd thought about the dream too long. Time to sweep the sheet off her head, and begin the ceremony of getting ready. The shower, which she'd hoped would wake her up, was disappointing. Either too hot or too cold, she thought. Either too young or too old. At the closet Sofia separated the nice clothes from the everyday ones, and was surprised to see how few nice clothes she had. How long, she asked herself, has it been since there was an occasion to dress up? She winced at the tears; she blotted them with a nice yellow dress that smelled as if it had been rescued from Grandma's attic. She shook out the yellow dress out and smelled it again. Better. And the cream shoes. She could make herself presentable, she decided, feeling ridiculous that she felt that way, and proud that she could see that she was ridiculous. Maybe, she thought, maybe she thought too much about herself. She shook her head to shoo away these thoughts. How different things might have been if she and her sister had talked. But they had talked, she argued with herself. As she dressed, she thought of the times after school, when their mother was still at work and she and her sister would try on their mother's clothes. Intoxicated with the smell of perfumes and powders, dressing each other in ruffles and lace, there was communication going on without words. It was when the words started that it got bad: that looks stupid on you, I am so pretty in this, too bad about that mop on top of your head, I'm the one who looks like Mommy, not you! Was that the beginning of why there were so few words between them now? She looked in the mirror. "You look nice," she told herself. "Really? Yes." But the negative words were still in her mind, the way they always were, her sister ever-present. She stood on tiptoe and pulled down the gift wrapped in white and silver from the top shelf, where it had hidden since its purchase months before. Driving to the church, she suddenly had the urge to turn around. Pull over, pull over, stop, turn around, go back. But she kept driving. When she arrived there was music and voices coming from the church, then a hush and music only. As she walked up the steps, a few women she didn't recognize hurried out and gestured to her to come in; they were shutting the doors. A cloud of a white dress floated up the darkened aisle to the heart of the sanctuary. Afterward, one of the women came up to Sofia and smiled in an uncertain but friendly way. Then she held out a bag tied with a lovely ribbon. As she took it, the rice crunched in her hand. She lined up along the sidewalk with the rest of the guests. Sofia reached into the bag and realized the rice seemed familiar somehow. But she pushed the thought aside and readied herself to shower the happy couple with the small white pellets as they emerged from the church. which paragraph from the story foreshadows that sofia might be uncomfortable when she arrives at her sisters wedding? a.Paragraph 12 b.Paragraph 9 c.Paragraph 1 d.Paragraph 6
