Ang tradisyonal na panliligaw sa Pilipinas ay inilarawan bilang isang "konserbatibong" diskarte na inihambing sa Western o Kanluraning kultura. Ito ay makukuha sa iba’t ibang "yugto" na likas sa lipunan at kultura.
