CAN SOMEONE FILL THESE OUT BASED ON THE ESSAY BELOW?

It has forever been a debate on whether or not students should continue doing the amount of homework they normally do, or if they should do less. Students worldwide are arguing that they are treated unfairly, that they should have less amount of homework to do. Students already have to do a ton of schoolwork as it is, so why should they get the same amount of work for homework? Studies have shown that students get increased anxiety because they get overwhelmed with the amount of schoolwork, essays, and tests throughout the day and they have the same amount as homework. More and more students are dropping out, skipping class and lowering their scores because they feel too overwhelmed with the amount of work they have to do every day.

On the other hand, teachers think it is not enough work. They believe that students should know as much as they can in order to succeed in life. But even parents argue that they don't get to spend as much time with their child because they are at school most of the day, and then they come home to do homework for the rest of the day. Students not only miss out on family time or social life, but they get irregular sleep schedules and they have a harder time focusing in class because they are too tired from staying up all night doing homework.

So teachers say that knowledge is everything and that we need to learn as much as we can, but how can students do so if they are too tired to focus on what teachers are teaching? Students come in and sometimes even skip breakfast because they are too tired and even skip lunch and dinner! Students have no time for their family, no time for social life and no time for themselves. It has even been reported that students become dehydrated and unfit because they will be working all day, that they forget to drink water or even exercise. So homework is causing so many health problems for these students, and they are getting no time for anything else in their life, and they increase anxiety and even depression because they feel lonely and they don't what to fail, so they keep working. Students even get low self-esteem because they don't even get to build one when they are busy 24/7. They don't get to go out and feel confident in themselves when they are afraid of failing.

Read the passage and study the image from Sugar Changed the World.

Slaves were given long, sharp machetes, which would be their equipment—but for some also their weapons—until the harvest was done. The cutters worked brutal, seemingly endless shifts during the harvest—for the hungry mills crushed cane from four in the afternoon to ten the next morning, stopping only in the midday heat. Slaves had to make sure there was just enough cane to feed the turning wheels during every one of those eighteen hours. They worked in teams, a man slashing the cane, a woman binding every twelve stalks into a bundle. According to one report from 1689, each pair of workers was expected to cut and bind 4,200 stalks a day. Exactly how much they cut depended on how much their mill could handle—the cutting must never get a day ahead of the grinding, for then the sugar cane would dry up.

PORTIA. Nor for yours neither. You’ve ungently, Brutus,
Stole from my bed; and yesternight at supper
You suddenly arose, and walked about
Musing and sighing, with your arms across,
And when I asked you what the matter was,
You stared upon me with ungentle looks.
I urged you further; then you scratched your head,
And too impatiently stamped with your foot.
Yet I insisted, yet you answered not,
But with an angry wafture of your hand
Gave sign for me to leave you. So I did,
Fearing to strengthen that impatience
Which seemed too much enkindled, and withal
Hoping it was but an effect of humour,

Excerpt from Battling Cancer: One Woman's Journey
Tracy Wilson

1 Julianne had never given much thought to cancer before one dismal Monday morning last April. The dawn clouds were gray and heavy, and it looked as though it might rain at any second as Julianne meandered to the mailbox at the end of the lawn. As she opened the box, the rusty hinge made a screech much like someone scraping fingernails across a blackboard. The news Julianne received in a postcard that day was much more unnerving. It was simply stated: "Miss Taylor, please call our office to schedule a follow-up appointment as soon as possible. Tests from your annual physical examination have revealed an abnormality." "Abnormality?" Julianne questioned. What kind of abnormality could a 24-year-old woman, who exercised religiously and consumed a healthy diet, possibly have? Within hours she learned the answer to this question only to pose a thousand more in its place.

The main idea of section one is that Julianne received some upsetting news. Which detail from section one supports this main idea?
A) The bad weather was upsetting to Julianne.
B) The postcard referred to abnormal test results.
C) The postcard stated Julianne must come in for additional tests.

which best describes how ancient myths use personification?

humans often attempt to challenge or deceive the gods

Gods make decisions that have effects on the natural world

humans may be punished by gods for being disobedient

gods embody abstract Concepts and natural phenomena

Answers

Final answer:

Ancient myths use personification by attributing human qualities or forms to gods, abstract concepts, and natural phenomena.

Explanation:

Ancient myths use personification by attributing human qualities or forms to gods, abstract concepts, and natural phenomena. This literary device helps to make these elements more relatable and understandable to humans. For example, Greek gods had human-like qualities and were represented as perfectly formed humans in visual art. In Mesopotamian myths, gods acted on human impulses like anger and lust.

Final answer:

Ancient myths use personification to give human qualities to deities, representing forces of nature and abstract concepts, as seen in both Mesopotamian and Greek myths.

Explanation:

Ancient myths often employ personification to embody abstract concepts and natural phenomena through gods and other divine characters. In Mesopotamian and Greek cultures, deities were rendered with human emotions and qualities despite representing forces of nature or ideological concepts. For instance, in Mesopotamian mythology, gods like Enlil personify natural disasters, whereas, in Greek mythology, figures like Themis and represent justice. These myths provided humans with a worldview that integrated the divine with the natural world, a process that shaped both religion and society.

Which form of radioactive decay would you be most likely to detect if it was happening in the room next to the one you are currently in? The 4.0 C charge is replaced with a 8.0 C charge. What is the exact magnitude of the force (in N) exerted by the system of charges on the 8.0 C charge? Do not include units with your answer. 1. Question 1 options: A: $3,500.00 B: $1,000.00 C: $807.69 D: $1,615.38 once equilibrium is reached in which direction will molecules in a liquid state move across the membrane A scientist investigated DNA replication in two groups of cells, labeled A and B. She injected radioactively labeled nucleotides into cells of each group and allowed DNA replication to begin. When replication was halfway completed, she injected a drug into the cells to stop replication. She then examined the cells to determine the distribution of the newly-synthesized DNA. She found each cell of group A had many segments of new DNA in its nucleus, while each cell of group B had a single segment of new DNA in its cytoplasm. What can the researcher conclude about the cells? A. Group B cells are eukaryotic because they must have a single origin of replication. B. The cells in group A are eukaryotic because they replicate their DNA in the cytoplasm or nucleus. C. Group A cells are prokaryotic because they must have many origins of replication. D. The cells in group B are prokaryotic because they replicate their DNA in the cytoplasm. What is the rate of increase for the function f(x)= 1/3 (^3 24)^2x If the binding of the CAP-cAMP complex promotes transcription of the induced lac operon, then how does the negative control of the lac operon by glucose function through the CAP-cAMP complex? See Section 18.3 (Page 373) . When glucose concentration is high, the concentration of CAP and the complex are high. When glucose concentration is high, the concentration of CAP and the complex are high. When glucose concentration is high, the concentration of cAMP and the complex are low. When glucose concentration is high, the concentration of cAMP and the complex are high. The graph shows the number of paintballs a machine launches, y, in x seconds:A graph titled Rate of Launch is shown. The x axis label is Time in seconds, and the x axis values are from 0 to 10 in increments of 2 for each grid line. The y axis label is Number of Balls, and the y axis values from 0 to 60 in increments of 12 for each grid line. A line is shown connecting points on ordered pair 2, 12 and 4, 24 and 6, 36 and 8, 48.Which expression can be used to calculate the rate per second at which the machine launches the balls?A.) 2/12B.) 12/2C.) 2/48D.) 48/2
